Leslie Bennett

Leslie Bennett, Associate, developed her leadership experience over the past twenty years in a number of industries including Hospitality and Tourism Management, Event Management, Learning and Development and Mental Health.

Shortly on in her career she realized she has a genuine passion for assisting people to realize their true potential. Leadership performance and development has been a part of her professional life; spending five years on the board of directors with Meeting Professional International; in 2007 she continued to bring awareness and leadership to various volunteer roles within the mental health community.

Leslie’s professional commitment is leadership coaching and facilitating; and is passionate about designing and facilitating mental health workshops. She has strong competencies in communication, design, leadership coaching and project management; she listens through her client’s barriers and provides the space and presence for their greatness to show up, creating extraordinary results.

Her areas of expertise include mental health in the workplace, career development, facilitated learning sessions and coaching for top performance at all levels.

Her passion is working with businesses to empower employees to be leaders within their area of expertise and in creating work environments that are inclusive while breaking down society’s stigma of mental health. Her approach is simple; create a dynamic workshop by using a participant centered approach in the design. Participants are actively engaged and are discovering the information for themselves and having fun; meaning they walk away with it and own it. These are not your typical corporate training sessions.

Clients include the Ministry of Corrections, JVS Employment Services, Toronto Catholic District School Board, Toronto Distress Centre, Mood Disorders Association of Ontario, Reconnect Mental Health Services to mention a few.
