The Core HR Team

The PMC Inc Human Resources Operational Services Group is anchored by a core team of professional consultants with significant experience at senior levels in the human resources sector. These associates draw on strong professional backgrounds and practical experience in human resources positions to provide client organizations with the tools they need to meet their unique HR challenges.

» Michael Hart – A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with 28 years in senior Human Resources management positions within the public sector and 10 years experience as a human resources consultant. Michael has experience in HR corporate service delivery, organizational change management, organizational design and analysis, workplace review and improvement, talent acquisition and management, executive coaching and mentoring, facilitation, mediation for clients with both unionized and non-unionized employees.

» Roger Gordon – A seasoned Senior Executive with strategic and tactical experience as a Chief Administrative Officer for the Ontario Government including a specialty in Human Resources with over 20 years direct experience in the HR field including serving as an HR Director and a Staff Relations and Compensation Manager. Roger has extensive experience in Human Resources executive recruitment and development, administration, policy development and strategic planning, organizational design, staff relations and pay and compensation.

» Pat Werner – Pat’s career as a human resources (HR) specialist encompasses policy and operational expertise. For several years she headed the corporate human resources policy function of the Ontario Government. Her hands-on public and not-for-profit sector HR experience includes consulting assignments and leading employee teams specializing in strategic and operational HR policy, compensation (pay systems and pensions and benefits programs), job evaluation systems, health and safety, employee assistance programming (EAP) and recruitment.

» David Mahy – An HR executive with over 30 years experience in human resources with the last 8 years as Associate Vice President at Trent University. David has held progressively more responsible human resources positions in education, medical care, long term care, hospitality and manufacturing. David has been teaching in the human resources program at Ryerson University and his strong focus is developing the human resources knowledge of students and the human resources skills of managers. He has an effective leadership style in staff relations, employs interest-based bargaining techniques and is a key resource for managers in developing work environments known for staff excellence.

» James Parker – The President of PMC Inc, Jim has over 30 years of public sector policy and management experience with the Ontario provincial government in such areas as Natural Resources, Housing, Municipal Affairs and Management Board providing a solid foundation of expertise in management practice.

» J.E. (Ted) Clarke – A Human Resources Consultant with over 35 years public and private sector experience at senior management levels, including more than 13 years consulting with clients on matters related to labour relations, organizational design, staff development, succession planning, recruitment and retention, compensation and salary and benefits administration. He has as represented employers in matters before labour arbitration boards, WSIB, and the Human Rights Commission. His work includes designing and implementing compensation systems for small to medium sized organizations and he has designed and implemented attendance improvement and early return to work programs. His work is strategic with a strong tactical application to meet client needs.

» Dan Gordon – His 34 years of public sector experience comprises 24 years as Human Resources Director in key and sensitive portfolios including Cabinet Office, Intergovernmental Affairs, Finance, Auditor General Ontario, Tourism and Economic Development and Trade of the Ontario Government. Dan has a strong reputation as a team builder, strategic HR planner, change management leader, project management head, executive coach and as an effective operations manager known for excellence in customer service and delivery.

» Linda Hunter – A Senior Associate and business consultant who specializes in engagement, coaching for results and career development. She consults to organizations of all sizes as well as leading workshops on topics such as workplace satisfaction, the new role of the manager, mentoring, customer service excellence and enhancing personal performance. Linda is successful in combining business acumen and human resources know-how to generate significant bottom line results. Her main interest is in finding ways to increase the capacity of an organization to optimize its peoples’ performance. She has coached and mentored employees at all levels and works extensively to facilitate the relationships between employees and their managers.
