
Clay Lafleur
Clay Lafleur is an established educator and researcher. He is currently president of his own consulting company that specializes in research, program evaluation and knowledge exchange activities. He was recently the first Director of the Policy and Research Department at The Learning Partnership and Curriculum Assessment Officer for the Simcoe County District School Board. Previous leadership positions include:- Clay was Manager of the Assessment Policy Unit for the Ontario Ministry of Education, Head of Evaluation and Research Services for the Educational Research Institute of British Columbia and Senior Education Research Officer for the South Australian Education Department.
- Clay has also been Adjunct Professor in the Department of Theory and Policy Studies in Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto and Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia.
In addition Clay has taught in elementary and secondary schools as well as in a number of colleges and universities in Canada and Australia.
His research, seminars/workshops and publications are in the areas of policy development, knowledge transfer, innovations, leadership, educational change, assessment, program evaluation and qualitative inquiry.
